Was there enough structure to the discussions ?
How do they ensure that the gaps in your knowledge are minimal?
How do you know how much is enough for the exams ?
Do you think it helped you a lot in the clinical phase of you programme ?

Hi DogeTheDoggo. I don't study medicine so I can't answer your questions myself but you can talk to our current medicine students on the Unibuddy platform. Bassant, Mustafa and Kaijanee are all in their third year of studying medicine at Keele and I am sure they would be happy to answer your questions about PBL. You can access their profiles through the following links.
Bassant- https://api.unibuddy.co/og/keele-uni...Position=share
Kaijanee- https://api.unibuddy.co/og/keele-uni...Position=share
Mustafa- https://api.unibuddy.co/og/keele-uni...Position=share

You can also read a bit more about PBL at Keele on here- https://www.keele.ac.uk/medicine/und...ased-learning?

I hope this helps!

Is there any way I could get a copy of an actual detailed week in the life of a med student?

Hi again. Yes, I was able to find a YouTube video by Mustafa, who is one of the third year med students I mentioned about in my previous response, about a day in the life of a med student. You can find the video on here-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ct4ZsFZwlGk
Furthermore, the Keele university YouTube channel also have more videos on general things like a campus tour and the local area etc you might find interesting!
I also found this article written by Stephanie Griffiths on what its like to study medicine at Keele- https://lifeofamedic.com/2020/08/03/...edical-school/

Hope this answered you question!
