how common/what is the success rate of switching undergraduate degrees in first year at LSE?

Not sure why you tagged me specifically...in any case as it so happens this is a very common FOIA request on whatdotheyknow, and there's a lot of data available on there regarding switches which you can peruse at your leisure.
Bear in mind though generally those that switch probably would meet the standard entry criteria for the course they are switching into in the first place, so if you have not yet applied you may as well just apply to the course you want to get into in the first place, particularly as LSE is known to offer alternate courses to strong applicants who just miss out on getting into the course they were applying to.
