is this "your body can only absorb 30g protein at a time" a myth?

Yeah it is but there's some truth to it I think at the extreme ends like if you eat 100g per meal or smth. Not sure though.

There are probably benefits to spreading protein intake out, but the effect is minimal compared to other things people happily do "suboptimally".

Don't worry about it.

I was expecting to lose muscle as the myth states that the body can apparently only absorb a certain amount of protein at a time and since during ramadan its a 7-8 hour eating window, I still manage to get 180g of protein in and I didnt lose muscle at all.

Ur not gonna lose considerable muscle mass in 30 days and there is no way for you to accurately gauge how much muscle mass you would've lost.
