I am currently studying A level computer science and my teacher says I'm better at the IT aspects (my coding isn't really top notch). Should I still apply for software engineering apprenticeships or IT apprenticeships (I'm getting interested in IT Consulting)

definitely!! you've got nothing to lose and everything to gain. i've just landed a role as a Software Engineer at BT and i couldn't be more happy so you should apply for whatever vacancies are left, for sure
