When a fair die is thrown twice, what is the probability of scoring
a) first 1 then 2?

how do i do this i dont get it would it be 2/6 probability?

you would do the probability of getting 1 time the probability of getting 2

If your figuring out the probability of a specific sequence of events e.g. a 1 then a 2 you have to multiply the probabilities

The probability of getting a 1 first is 1/6 and the probability of getting a 2 second is 1/6 so u would multiply these together to get 1/36
