Does any one know if Unis send offers and rejections by post.
I have just received a letter and don’t even want to open it, bad enough looking at Ucas.
Had two out of five rejections already and now waiting on the final 3.
I guess I should just open it but just wanted to see what you thought before I did so.

Most unis do not send you confirmation of an offer, and when they do it’s usually an email
It’s probably marketing stuff, just open it

I remember after receiving an offer from Leeds, they sent me a letter confirming it? But it’s most likely marketing as mentioned above

I agree, I haven’t heard anything via UCAS so I would think it’s marketing.
The days are just dragging, waiting is just terrible

Unis can’t notify you of any decision in the first instance, via post or email. It has to come from UCAS directly. You’ll get a Track update first.
I’m not aware of any uni that would send offer/rejection info via post. Only marketing info and then rarely.

Decided to open it this morning. I can’t believe it, it reads, Congratulations we are delighted to offer you a place. So pleased and relieved. The same offer has just come through on UCAS but the letter was direct from the uni.

A very unusual way of notifying you. Obviously relying on the fact that snail mail is a lot slower that Track updates.
