I'm in year 10 and I'm considering a career in electrical and electronic engineering. Both a university degree and a degree apprenticeship seem like a viable path to me. During the application process, will I *have* to choose between one or the other or can I apply to both universities and a degree apprenticeship and then make a decision between the two if there is an offer?

Yes, you can apply to both at the same time so you won't need to decide straight away.
