Has anyone looked into funding? Is it only the post grad loan to pay the course that's available? I'm guessing no NHS bursary help?

Tried to apply for the NHS bursary the other day and got told ultrasound isn't included, which is unfair 🙃 but yeah I think the post grad loan is our only funding option I think.
Are you starting in September?

Hey!! I don't know it all happened so fast. Interview two days ago and accepted yestersay! 🥴 lol still trying to get my head round it and round the travel because im in Bham. But yes the thought of the 21st makes me feel whoozy!! My placement is in Nottingham. Are you happy with your placement? Im doing obs, abdo and gynae, what about you?

Omg no way! That's so good, well done🥳!! Aww thats a bit of a trek, atleast placement isn't every week cause that would be quite hefty 😅 Nah I wish mine was Derby or Notts cause traveling to Chesterfield will take me about 1hr30 each way which is a tad frustrating. Oooooh nice, those sounds interesting especially obs! Mines General medical which is exciting!!

Also, do you know how many days placement is over each year? And do you know if it is a certain number of hours we have to complete or carry out a number of scans until we are fully competent?

Just looked at the timetable I got sent and omg didn't realise how much placement days we actually have lol I could send it to you if you want? And the rest of your question I'm not really sure about those sorry x
