It completely depends on the content of the essay. Some paragraphs will be longer or shorter than others, according to the depth and breadth of the content.

Hello!

Not at all! In my head I always aim for 2/3 of a page for a decent paragraph, so 7 paragraphs seems good!

I would really recommend emailing your university's Study Support team as they can offer academic advice and can read through your essay to help with argument structure, spelling, grammar etc. They're a really useful service :smile:
