I'm doing A Levels in maths, further maths, physics and chemistry. I'm planning to study physics at university. I know that, in scotland, highers and advanced highers are taken instead of A Levels. I want to make sure that I don't have any holes in my knowledge when applying to uni, so does anyone know what topics are covered in highers/advanced highers but not in A Levels (I mainly care about maths & physics).

Having 'holes in your knowledge' isn't such a big deal because the course will teach you everything from the very basics - they know that people are coming in having done all sorts of qualifications, so the only way to make sure everyone's learnt the same things is to teach the content from the ground up.

If you want to prepare for uni physics, learn some Python.
