Asking for a friend:
"I've firmed Aston for accounting and finance with grades needed of DDM, I believe ill get a minimum of DDD making me eligible for adjustment, I want to try for a better uni such as UoB or UoN, I would meet their requirements for the course of DDD, but I have a 5 in GCSE maths instead of the minimum 6 required as I wasn't allowed to do higher, do unis tend to lower their GCSE requirement for clearing/adjustment or be more lenient since I'm meeting their required offer of DDD. Thank you"

Any course that wants a specific grade for GCSE Maths will still want that from all applicants - including Clearing and Adjustment.
