I have an appointment next week for acne and my friend just told me the dermatologist make you strip down is this true? i find it kinda weird people looking at me naked for acne..maybe it’s just me? I get them looking at my back and chest and stuff but stripping all way down in front of people this can’t be true surely?

“It’s their job” if it’s true then maybe so but personally I wouldn’t feel comfortable and all I want to do is go there for spots and be put on Roaccutane so what happens if I refuse to strip all way down? maybe I’m making an idiot of myself but by friend doesn’t prank or lie to me especially about this stuff but there’s a first time for everything lmfao.

they will not make you strip
Just asked a private dermatologist and they told me if it’s first time being seen they want to see the whole body and they either ask the person to strip down fully and go into a gown or if the person is uncomfortable they can keep their underwear on and they basically just peak under.
