Damn, people on here have such high expectations! Most people, including you, have much better mock results than my final results- and you're not happy!!!!

You should be happy on what you've achieved. Not many people will have grades like you.

to be fair quite a few people will. (It's "many", by the way).

I just thought you were doing A-levels from your sig, so it seemed a bit weird to me that you had a huge list of every possible Master's degree you could do, etc, when you're not even at uni yet.

Nothing significant!

About the master's degrees, I am looking way to forward about my future.

yeah, it's fair enough, just seemed odd to me, so I thought I'd ask b/c if you were like a 3rd yr at uni then it would make sense to me!

It's good to look forward to your future, but not too far like me.

Or, to be more accurate, you think you know what you're doing!

It's good to look ahead, but you will probably find that your mind does change (or at least you become less certain about things) as you progress.

Yeh, I think I know what I'm doing, but being so sure so early on is scary... :captain: (sorry, random smiley)

Just a note to all students sitting higher tier maths that you can give yourself a very realistic mock exam from mrmaths.com when your properly ready for a mock...March 2005.

See MrMaths.com for further details and also for past Maths gcse papers

Well, someone's just given me bad rep for saying what I achieved in my mocks (which was 10 A*s)...I can only believe this is through jealousy, and if you don't believe me, the more fool you!

Whoever repped me, all I can say is, just because your jealous doesn't mean that you can be out of order to someone who does reasonably well. Funnily enough, I worked reasonably hard (by no means extremely) to make sure that I got those grades in my mocks.

I'd revise those ol' possessives if you want those grades in your real GCSEs... (jk)

I had a look at it the other day. I had heard from everyone in the year above that it was very difficult, but the people in my year (including myself) found it not much harder than the other past papers we have done.

I have a feeling though that this year it will be easier
based on the number of complaints that Edexcel had that it was so hard last year!
