I already have QTS in general primary and work as a teacher. I have become more interested in getting into early years, specifically reception and nursery.

I was searching for early years qualifications and came across the PGCert that gives EYTS.

It is funded by the DofE and also gives my school 7k if I train.

I was thinking it might give me more options than just teaching in the future and would mean i am qualified to teach 0-5.

Has anyone completed this already? What are the pros/con?
I am looking at the employment route which takes 1 year.
