Epigenetics

Does oestrogen, methyl groups and acety groups bind with dna or protein on epigenetics ?

I thought oestrogen binds to protein
Methyl groups to dna
And acetyl groups bind to dna
Yes, methyl groups bind directly to DNA (specifically the cytosine bases but you don't need to know that for A level).
Acetyl groups bind to histones.
Oestrogen does bind to a protein- the oestrogen receptor (a transcription factor). This forms an oestrogen-transcription factor complex complex, and the complex then moves into the nucleus and binds to DNA in initiate transcription.
