Hey everyone!
I managed to contract covid, and it's been 11 days since my last day of isolation.

The issue is, I can barely smell anything.

I can taste my food as normal, but I can't really smell.

After day 5 of being infected, I could not smell anything at all, even frebreeze sprayed right onto my hand lol.

When I do that now (11 days after the last day of isolation) I can just about smell it.

I am also just about able to smell perfume when sprayed onto my clothes and I put my nose right next to it.

But in terms of smelly socks or bad toilet odour, or my food, yeah cannot smell that at all.

I'm quite worried, I'm only a 21-year-old university student.

If you lost your smell due to covid, how long did it take to return?
Again, I didn't lose my taste.

Thanks!

It varies for different people. But I know some people who still have no sense of smell months after having covid.
