New Carnegie or Pittodrie Street?

Hey! I have an offer to study Law with English Law at the University of Aberdeen (I will be firming soon) and I was wondering which accommodation is best in terms of meeting people? I know that Hillhead is practically packed with new students but Pittodrie Street generally looks better (the bathroom, the shared kitchen, etc.) so I'm a little conflicted on which one to pick. Thanks!
From what I've seen neither of them are located on campus (I didn't look into accommodation yet) so I'd probably go for the better looking one, you're still gonna have roommates and there are gonna be new students
