Focus on all the positive things in your life; hobbies that you most enjoy, doing the things that make you happy, future ambitions and planning how to achieve the future life that you want.
Put your health and physical safety first.
Remember that life is too short to waste your time, energy or attention on those who don't deserve it- don't give them any.
Plus setup dealbreakers to ensure that the behaviour of past abusers will never be repeated in your daily life again- by the same individuals or anyone else.
Not in any context; friendship, workplace, dating, relatives or housemates.
Also, if I begin to think of it, I try to listen to some calming music and color or meditate.
