Where do postgrads and specifically PhD students tend to live in Plymouth?
Girlfriend just started her PhD at Plymouth and she is looking for accommodation(s) or areas where PhD students tend to live. She wants to be surrounded by older students rather than freshers.
We heard most students live in Mutley.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Fresher's, or first years, typically decide to stay in Halls so any of the private accommodation's that are run for students tend to be around the Mutley area, although there are some that are around the uni as well, just not in halls! I can provide some links to some of the websites as well which have private student accommodation, as well as some for studio's!

These are some of the one's that I've looked at in the past which offer houses that hold up to ten students, or studio flats!
I hope this helps, but please don't hesitate to ask any more questions!
