Can student finance pay for the academic year I intermitted on even if I apply after confirming my intermission?

If you’re intermitting/suspended then you aren’t studying and SFE doesn’t fund you when you’re not an active student

Why would you need to pay tuition fees if you aren't studying?

I’m in debt to the school now due to unprecedented finance issues so before I can return to my studies I need to pay it off and wanted to know if I could apply for student finance at this point to pay it for me

Good Afternoon,

If you apply for funding within the first 9 months of the start of the academic year we can work out your entitlement up until the point of suspension.

Once you apply you would also need to get the university to send over the confirmation that you've suspended.

Warm Regards,

Shaun.
