When is best to attend a open day for uni? I’m looking at a September 2022 entry.

Thanks

Anytime that’s not during the holidays.
I went to one out of about 10 open days in the summer and it was a whole different atmosphere without all the students there

Go during the summer term if you can - its still uncertain IF Unis will hold in-person Open Days, but if they run, then go.
Seeing the Uni, listening to subject talks, chatting to current students can give you a very definite feeling for that Uni - crucial o=in the 'is this Uni right for me' decision making. Students this year have had to make do with 'virtual open days' - all online or filmed. Not the same.
