Am I of compulsory school leaving age?

My birthday was September last year and I'm currently 16 and I leave school this year around June. I'm currently applying for this job and I've been asked if I'm of compulsory school leaving age. Does this mean I need to leave Secondary School first? Being 16, I assume I can work already.
Where do you live? If you're in England, I think you have to be in part time education of some form (i.e. apprenticeship, college, sixth form etc) until you're 18 so I don't think so but I'm not too sure.

THis is what the government says:

England
You can leave school on the last Friday in June if you’ll be 16 by the end of the summer holidays.

You must then do one of the following until you’re 18:

stay in full-time education, for example at a college
start an apprenticeship or traineeship
spend 20 hours or more a week working or volunteering, while in part-time education or training
