hi, does anyone know if u can write in 3rd person in 'original writing' coursework for eng GCSE?? im not sure some1 assure me that i can plz thanx xxx

It's title says original writing. Hence you can write in whatever style you like if you think it will suit you best. I didn't and still did well enough compared to my other pieces of coursework...

You definitely can. I wrote in 3rd person and got an A* for it . I think most people I know wrote in 3rd person.

You write whatever you want (within) reason, in the style that you think will best fit it. Ie: a diary is probably best written 'I' but if what your writing is best in 3rd person, then do it in 3rd person. I wrote mine in third person, but also do it set way back in time, so tried to get the dialect and 'old style' to it, and got an A* for it.
