Where are you staying?

They look complicated, but theyre not - you wont have more than 8 hours a week really in your first year so dont worry ;-)
If you want a hand, i know the English department all too well, just give us a shout on here or on facebook... www.facebook.com/charly.noble
thank you but I've got it figured.... I think. I'm only in on Tuesdays and Thursdays for lectures, I'm guessing the seminars etc. will ruin that though

According to my semester 1 schedule I'm only in Tuesdays! Bit random that...

oh yes! you'll have one per module usually. just depends on what group you get put into and where that class falls. In Freshers Week you'll go to the English Department and there will be a board with class lists for each module, and it'll tell u when your seminar is for that.

Are the seminars the same time every week, or do they change week by week?

Here's a question. Is the all-inclusive membership at the fitness centre worth getting? I'm planning on going to the gym at least three to five times a week. Also, what is included in the 'all-inclusive'? Are classes included? Cheers in advance

I asked this a while back, and I'm pretty sure all inclusive includes all facilities on site!
Not sure about classes, I should think it will be worth it if you're going 3-5 times a week.
Don't take my word for it though, but can always find out when you get there!

DEFINITELY get the all inclusive if you're going that often.
Classes arent included unfortunately but they are only between £3-5 depending on the class and the duration. There are some pretty good ones available, run by both university staff and outside fitness people, big range of things as well - more info about that will be available in freshers week when the schedule has been sorted. Remember that people from outside the university can pay to use the gym and classes too, so its not always just students.
For the price, its a great deal to get the all inclusive package.
sorry, but why would you ostracise a human geographer?
Two reasons...
1) because I can 2) I find human geography thoroughly boring, the whole imagining spaces malarkey and de constructing narratives thing they constantly have going on bores me to the point of tears.
