What's especially off putting about the area? Everyone i've spoken has said they had their reservations but once they got here and got settled in it grew on them.

No offence but what did u people like about the area???

The area around the Uni is very student orientated. Takeaways, shops, pubs (gardeners arms best pub in 'ull) banks. What does it matter about other parts of Hull when chances are you probably will never have to venture into them? The City center isn't bad at all. Ok, there are some really rough parts of Hull but as a uni student you've no need to venture into such places.

its a small intake for the course but sounds great from the people I know who've done it !

im confused as to the relevance of the quote in your post?

i'm not entirely familiar with TSR, but i'm pretty sure theres a forum where people will be more able to help you with that (perhaps other music students particularly), and there might be people who specifically help with interviews and stuff just like how there are people who help with personal statements.
