Hello there!

In2ScienceUK is a social mobility STEM programme where young people receive mentoring and placements during the summer up until early autumn.

Has anyone applied to In2ScienceUK? What subjects did you choose and what is the status of your application? I'd love to know!

Here's mine:
Subject: Psychology, Experimental Psychology
Status of Application: Submitted

On 12th-14th of April, we will hear about the outcome of our application! If you get accepted congrats! If you get rejected, please try not to feel disheartened as there are plenty of other STEM opportunities!

good luck! its really competitive when applying last minute welp. thank you btw!
I mean being waitlisted is better than nothing which is good since they said students often drop out of the programme so they'll find space hopefully

I’ve just been shortlisted for an interview too! I believe I applied for Chemistry. I was going to submit a last minute application for Nuffield tonight but I’m so tired so I’m not too sure anymore lol. Well done to those who secured an interview and good luck to those who are still trying to secure summer schools/work experience x

I applied for both In2Science and Nuffield, what are the main differences between the 2 and which would you say is better?

Do some research for any laboratories in your area... I don’t think it would hurt to email around independently x

Hi there, I applied to in2science too and I got put on the waiting list! I wasn't really expecting an interview tbh but it would be nice to take part in if I do get a place.

The thing is, I don't remember what subjects I chose since I remember sending off my application several months ago! I know this sounds bad lol but I think it was either medicine or forensic science... I've really considered a wide range of careers apart from medicine during y12. Is there any way to check your application form??

Anyways, good luck everyone!!!
