How could I investigate ligand exchange and stability in transition metal
this is what I wrote but I feel like its wrong and im just writing a method instead of directly answering the question.
"1. I would need to test one of the metal samples, to check for hardness and the ability to bend without it breaking and record answers.
2. Determine if the sample is magnetic (electron configuration)
3. Conduct an experiment to see if the metals react with water, results might take time.
4. take a small sample of one of the given solutions (2cm3), to that add few drops of ammonia solution at a time, till there is no change in solution. I would record my findings and repeat this for the other solutions of the metal compounds."
