Sorry, I have been having trouble trying to understand the meaning of this Latin phrase. Can someone help me, please?
"Croesus copias suas domum abducere constituit."

the only Latin I can remember is: Caecillius et Metella est in hortus sedet, Grumio est iratus.
Try google translate, maybe.

This looks a tiny bit like homework, so I hope you don’t mind if I ask what you find tricky and any thoughts you have rather than translating!

I would translate ‘copias’ as ‘troops’. Something like ‘Croesus decided to lead his own troops from (his) house’
