How does sexual reproduction lead to genetic variation? I need 6 different points?
Genetic variation refers to the variety of different genes in a species. Sexual reproduction leads to variation because the DNA of different animals is mixed, rather than all passed on like in asexual reproduction. When different animals or plants have genetic mutations (which is common), sexual reproduction means the mutated genes are spread into the community as the genes get passed onto offspring. More variation is beneficial because if something like a natural disaster happens, some members of the species may be able to survive (due to their different genes) and the species won't die out.
