I am just wondering if I would be able to cancel my funding if I decide to not go to university? This is only hypothetically as I am unsure about going to university and I am keeping my options open

SFE don’t pay a penny until your university confirms your enrolment and attendance on your course. You can also easily cancel your application online if you decide not to go.

If you’re not sure then it’s best to apply for funding and then cancel it if you don’t need it. If you wait until you’re sure before applying then you could end up with your first payment delayed by weeks or months after your course starts.
