Correcting people's grammar

Does anyone else find it really annoying when you see people correcting other commenters' grammar lol it just gets on my nerves. It's particularly prevalent on here and places like Quora where people think they're just sooooo intelligent.
No hate don't go off on me pls xoxoxo

lmaoooo I'm dead it's the funniest when people get all passionate about it
People may want to help others by correcting their grammar and/or spelling. Others do it simply to be annoying. But, I think people should do it less for the latter.

yes I think it's nice when people do it to be helpful and in a polite way, but too much of the time it's just because they think they're grammar prodigies and need to share their genius with the world.

Well, it is not my duty to control others, but to help them instead. If people wish to write badly, that is fine by me, same as if people wish to write greatly. It is the own personal choice of the individual.
