Currently trying to apply for an animation course as a mature student (late application, I know). Originally I was planning to apply for a course that includes foundation year since it has a lenient requirement but should I try applying for the main course for a chance of getting in? Will they give back an offer to put me in foundation course or just flat out reject me?

Hi! Completely different course but I did this with my medicine application this year, I applied for the main course & foundation year at 2 different universities. When I received the offer for the main course, I was automatically rejected from the foundation one, so I imagine it would be the same if you aren’t suitable for the main one. It might be worth contacting the uni to ask if your application could be moved if you get rejected just to be sure through
