I'm a bit late to this one. I ended up applying, and got accepted into the CS Foundation Course (I studied in Mexico, so they weren't really a fan of my diploma). If you have an EU nationality it is considerably cheaper (9,000 euros per year) than any university in the UK, and around the same price of popular private universities in Mexico. Living cost isn't that high and the university provides assistance with pretty much anything you need. Loans, insurance, metro cards, etc. You finish the 3 year BSC course, 4 years with 2 foundation semesters, with a good diploma. I am moving there to get the full experience next wee, but so far no complaints. The instalations do kindof suck, but the lecturers are good. If you are on a tight budget and can't afford a UK university, but want an UK degree, I think its one of the best options out there.

I would avoid at all cost. Poor facilities (it operates out of a 7-storey commercial building). The lifts do not always work, and sometimes malfunction quite seriously. I was in one of their lifts and it dropped 3 floors and luckily I was not hurt or injured. There is no canteen in the building. Just try to picture in your mind how you would feel on a cold, rainy or snowy day you have to look for sustenance on the street and then get ready for the next lecture. Some time ago they started to hire a lecture hall in a local museum that's about 10 minutes away by walking; and again, won't be a pleasant walk in bad weather. I have seen admin and support staff who are much more professional and competent at other universities. The academic support team often gets things wrong and would refuse to admit to any mistakes or apologise. The academics are good and you could feel their enthusiasm and willingness to help. Most importantly, mainland China has refused to accept any qualifications conferred by Lacanster Uni's Leipzig campus. Leipzig is in Saxony and 99% of the jobs there will need someone who can speak fluent German. There are of course international companies in places like Berlin, Munich or Frankfurt but the living costs there are very high. Just do a web search on the level of monthly rent in those places.
