A word to the wise . . . there is nothing new here . . .

Isaiah 8:11-13 (c. 742BC): "For the Lord spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, Say ye not,
a confederacy (conspiracy, treason),
to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy (conspiracy, treason);
neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.
Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread."

i.e. people then were fearing conspiracies, God said fear me, sanctify my words in your heart, don't talk like they talk, you have better things to say.

- When Jesus rose from the dead and his disciples didn't recognise him it was just because it was a different bloke.

- Lot wasn't as drunk as he pretended to be.

- The ark actually had TWO windows. For bonus oxygen.

Psalm 33:10-11 The Lord brings the counsel of the heathen to nought: he makes the devices of the people of none effect. [11] The counsel of the Lord stands for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
