Music and Botany

Hi, are there any university courses that will allow me to study both of these, I am most passionate about music, but I'd hate to give up my interest in science.
Only course I could fine - Music Production and Conservation Biology at Liverpool Hope : https://www.hope.ac.uk/undergraduate/undergraduatecourses/conservationbiology/conservationbiologyandmusicproduction/

Or, you could do a Plant Science degree and just get involved in playing Music at University : https://bristol.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/2021/biological-sciences/bsc-plant-sciences/
It’s an unusual mix. You might have more luck with Scottish universities where combinations are more flexible due to the additional year of study in the degrees.

Do you want to study music academically or simply to play music? There are universities with strong musical traditions, choirs, orchestras, chamber assembles, chapels in which students who do not study music participate.

Study it academically, I can't imagine doing anything other than music as my job and I'd like to be some sort of music teacher and composer. But I like studying science because I'm an avid gardener , is it possible to take those modules in music degree? (I'm an A Level student studying maths, biology, chemistry and music)

Right ok, didn't know this, I will have a look, thanks!
A few universities do a liberal arts and sciences degree e.g. birmingham https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/undergraduate/courses/liberal-arts/liberal-arts-and-sciences.aspx
- not quite sure if you can do purely plant biology in them with music, but it's worth a look. You also might be able to combine other things in there that interest you.

Probably unrelated but Yeah sorry a bit late but i have as well kinda upset though, :/ pressure of evidence assesments and stuff got to me and now im looking at probably getting within the range of 96 at the lowest and 104 at the highest which isnt high enough for my expected 112 points for music production . They did say i could be eligible if not meeting the requirements, for a foundational year but its uncertain as they used the word 'May'. i was told the dir for the ourse is very nice and amenable so i should be accepted but i am not sure. they liked me a lot in thevirtual day and really were interested in my music taste but obvs if the demand for the course is large (they need people) im more likely to get in. which i think may be the case as they were really eager to have people join the course. Everything is a bit unknown as of now though so I mean if anyone has any advice, pleas let me know pm me and I will send my socials to discuss.
