So all the probabilities are going to add to 1. So, 0.2+0.1+k+2k+4k=1
then rearrange and solve for K.

PD is when you are looking the probability for one thing. E.g probability that a biased dice will land on 6.
CD is when there is more than one value. E.g. probability that it will take less than 12 shots to get a bullseye. This would be equal as the probability of 1,2,3....12. therefore you would use CD.

Hopefully this makes sense

Yhh mine too. Dont like stats and mechanics at all.

So, I THINK that what it is asking is the probability that X is not 4. So you just takeaway the probability of 4 from 1.
