French A2 AQA- La Gloire de Mon Pere

Which french literature are you looking at this year for your coursework? I am doing La Gloire de Mon Pere and struggling with it. Apart from buying the englsih translation what else can I get to help me? Are there any guides or anything on it?

i studied this book in school, i have to say its not very inspiring. the only thing i remember is that it was mean how the dad lied to the son, and then how the son was so proud when his dad got those birds when they were doing 'la chasse'. hmmmmmm
