Do I need to pay student finance if I'm referring my place?

This might seem like a silly question to ask, but if I have decided to defer my university place until 2022, will I still need to apply for student finance this year or can I apply next year?

Hi - there are no silly questions :smile:.

That depends, if you are starting before September 2022 then you can leave your application and change the start date. If you are applying to start in or after September 2022 then you should cancel your application and re apply once the 22/23 applications launch.
