How can the first answer be plus4 and minus 4, when the question says ' value' not 'values'

well 16^1/2 is still root 16, so it still has two roots (i.e. +4 and -4), im guessing either answer would do, or better yet just put ±4. I suppose its just bad question wording by Edexcel, but the question's only worth 1 mark, so I guess +4 and/or -4 would get the marks.

4 would be acceptable as would +/- 4
-4 is not acceptable on its own

I know the exams already passed, but are you actually allowed to put the paper up so quick after the exam? and how comes Edexcel aren't chasing this up...aren't they quite stingy in terms of copyright etc...

Strictly im not allowed to put the paper up and when my site goes official, there wont be any past papers online. However if i was to put the exam online, as i have done, 48 hours is the appropriate time frame to release exams.

Hence this shows why i put the paper and solutions up on Weds at 2pm, exactly 48 hours after the exam was sat.

When will it be going official?

P.S. - Nice website.

Thanks.
From September 2005 i'm hoping for. Not sure about the A level section though, we're thinking of building a sister site for A level Maths.

Always good to hear positive feedback

We are all eager to see how we have performed.

Since you mention feedback, to be honest, I can't really fault it. Personally I find it simple & easy to navigate around the site, and the colour scheme is simple. Good job.
