My friend has been feeling very down, cries herself to sleep, has a low-self esteem, she always says she doesn't feel beautiful. She said sometimes she doesn't eat or only eats a little bit, and she has regular mental break downs because of how overwhelmed she gets. What strategies can I give her to help support her. Please let me know ASAP.
Hi, i hope she is okay especially at this time it's very hard mentally. The best way I would say is distractions if this is meeting you or doing something else. With being overwhelmed I would say focus on the main things and cut them into chunks to make it easier for her. With the eating, She needs to eat more because it could be a reason why she is feeling overwhelmed because of not eating her body is not functioning correctly and her brain will not have the right nutrients to work. x
