I have submitted my application and have just sent my birth certificate off, however, when my dad tries to link his account to mine using my reference number, it comes up with my name but when he clicks to support my application, it then says it cannot be linked. Does SFE have to have received my birth certificate evidence before he can give details of his income?

Hi, you might of only applied for the basic funding.

I advise you to complete the household income form http://ow.ly/d/8pbq and your dad can complete the PFF2 form http://ow.ly/d/8pbp - you can then upload both forms in your online account.

Hi,

I don't think I have as when I log in it has both of my parents names saying that they need to submit their income on my 'checklist'.

It sounds like you did apply correctly then. In that case - we will only need the PFF2 form. If you ask them to digitally complete this and then you can upload it.

Hi, thank you.

1) How would I complete it digitally?
2) How would I upload it?
3) Is there a reason for this error in the first place as surely there should be a fix rather than a workaround?

I will answer your questions in order.

1. On the computer, you can use Adobe Reader or any PDF editor. Or you can print it out, write on it and take a photo then upload the photo. Alternatively you can send it in the post if you prefer.

3. If we have assessed your account for the basic funding due to waiting too long for your parents details then it can cause this issue, however I can't see your account so I'm only assuming what happened. You can call us on 0300 100 0607 or message us on Facebook/Twitter if you would like us to review your account.
