Mine took 7 months to get a conditional offer. Luckily, it has been confirmed and I am joining in September, if everything goes fine.

Took me a week to get an offer. Probably taking long because you might have applied for an over scubscribed course.

I'm rather waiting for a hall offer right now. It's frustrating for such vital stuff to take such long.

I think this is more understandable imo. There will be reasons why they have to wait a while, including making sure they don't make it a lot less likely for students who have their place confirmed later to get their prefered hall.

This is exactly my case. My offer couldn't be confirmed unconditional until late June and thus they said time is still needed to process. I did talk to my future supervisor, who said some admin staff might be on vacation and wouldn't return until August to complete the processing. Hopefully, everything could be sorted out by early August.
