So I'm applying for the maintenance loan and its reached the page where it says :
maintenance loan -£4111
A higher amount of maintenance loan - £4964

Normally I receive around £9000 but the above has me so confused, does it mean that the amount paid is £4111 and an additional £4964 might be added on after reviewing the parents information?

Or does it mean £4964 is the highest I'll get?

Please help, stressing into an abyss right now, many thanks

Hi there, you need to add both figures together.

So you have been awarded the basic amount of £4111 plus the higher amount of £4964, so a total of 9075.
Thanks, Isaac
