Camp America 2021

Hi all is there anyone here that's applied for Camp America/AmeriCamp/CCUSA/BUNAC or anything involving working at a summer camp?

Has anyone actually been placed or been able to make any progress with obtaining a visa? I was really hoping that it would be able to go ahead but now I'm really not convinced. I know the US embassy has been shut causing issues with visas etc but I still haven't got any further information on police/health check.

Are people optimistic that they will go ahead or is it unrealistic for this year? Thanks

Did you make any progress? Hmm I really can't see it happening this summer :/

I had got as far as being ready to book my Visa Interview but that was the hold up and less than a week from my original departure date my camp advised that I deferred until next summer which means you get priority over new applicants.

So basically unless you were one of the lucky few who went on Mission Mexico because they already had a visa issued in previous years no one from the UK or EU is going to Camp this summer unfortunately.
