A Level Biology iPS Question!! Need help ASAP!!!

An affected female cell (with disease) starts to have Y chromosomes after they replaced some of them with the unaffected males cells/DNA. Explain why.

*The question is along those lines*

I think its because the cell transferred has the genome of a male cell? I'm not 100% sure and need help ASAP!

I don't have the full question. What I was trying to say was an affected female's cells are replaced with an unaffected male's cells. Why does the females cells now start to have Y chromosomes. As I said its something along those lines. I'm pretty sure it was apart of a question about sex linkage.
