If I leave an opened plastic bottle of spring of fizzy water in the fridge for a few days it tastes off. Anyone else get this?

It’s bc the fizz is gone. It’s the same as any other flat drink. But no it’s not ‘off’ that’s impossible

What are you storing the water in? Water does not go off per se but how the water is stored can alter the taste, for example, tap water in the fridge removes a lot of the fluoride taste, it always tastes better in a glass than in a plastic bottle and there is a metallic taste (ironically) from a metal container.

If you drank out of the bottle you introduce bacteria to it and that can cause the water to go "off". Also, the plastic starts to leach into the water at some point which also changes the taste.

Omg I was going to say that but I forgot to. Had an exam that took my brain cells out for today 😂

Also sparking water is ok if you are making MOJITO!!! It's good for mixing drinks just not by itself 💯

Very fizzy straight from the fridge sparkling water is very refreshing to brain cells (and low calorie which may or may not concern you)
