Dentistry Work Experience

i’m planning to do work experience in the summer, do you think i should start contacting dentists now or wait till july to see if they’re offering work experience
No harm in starting now. I imagine many other students will want to look for work experience too, so the earlier you start searching, the better your chances of securing something.

is there any better way to ask, i’m thinking of emailing but would a phone call be more effective
