Hi Rosie yes , send it by recorded delivery, that way it won't get lost. I'm same as u nervous and excited. I'm also nervous cos I come from a little village and am rarely in Belfast so will be big change. Do u have You have to travel far?

I took a chance and sent mine by normal post - figured that if i did send it by recorded delivery they'd only send it back by normal post anyway! fingers crossed! I've lived in Belfast for about 6 years now but originally from a small town. This day 3 weeks we'll have started!

Hi just a quick question re placements for those of you who are already on course. How far in advance do you know of your shift pattern for each placement? Do you get it on a weekly basis for the following week?

Really depends where your placement is.....but generally off duty is done 2wks in advance.

It differs between hospitals, but i knew the first two weeks shifts of my first placement around 2 weeks before it started, and i think we always knew about 2 or 3 weeks ahead during placement.

I think it's a slot with possible uniform fitting on the same day. It seems that way from previous posts i've read

Hi cupcakes and Rosie, my enrollment is between 11 and 12 and fitting between 12 and 1. Did you get yours? Was at queens looking around today, feel bit better now that iv seen round :-)

Daisy, ur times are good! I have enrollment at 9am to 10 and uniforn 10 to 11, a lovely early start for me on tues! I'm going to take the time after tho and look around as well, not long now!

Yeah I think we need to arrange it ourselves - I've been told to take plenty of photocopies of the evidence that you have got the injection. Not sure why but maybe you need to give it a few different places? I think we can see the timetable when we register online.

I thought it was them who sorted the injection out after we start, I remember occupational health telling me. The hep b one
