Hey, I'm a current student and I don't work as I'm a single parent and there is no way I'd be able to fit it in. But quite a lot of people do have a part-time job, eg at the weekends or evenings, and they get on fine. The only problem might be when you're on placement and you're doing shifts, your work would need to be quite flexible.
Good luck with your application, it's an amazing course, you'll love it.

Hi, would anyone that started in September 2011 be kind enough to let me know what their timetable is like for the periods at Queens? Also, what have your placement hours been like?

Hi im sept 11, so far we have been in 4 days a week, but next phase it will be five days. mostly 9 am starts finish at 1, 3 or 4 it depends and classes can change, so there is really no pattern and it all depends what class you are in as well so its very hard to give you def times! however, from sept we are all going onto a new curriculum which it more self directed learning, im not sure what this means for timetables, could be less teaching hours and more stuff to do at home or with your group.

sorry if this doesnt help much!
Thank you, that is very helpful.
got my interview letter 2day
