hellooo, i have my interview next week! (wed 7th) in mbc building on lisburn road? has anyone else got theirs there?? its beside the city hospital (is this right?? )
also if anyone who has had their interview would they mind helping with interview questions, do they ask you about personal experience, or current issues. (i have applied for mental health) also i have seen from the previous years that the interview is scored out of 25, and to get a conditional offer scores need to be 20+ ! sooo if theres anyone on here happens to read this who is currently studying nursing PLEEEEASE could they mail me or help on this?? as to a good solid answer on the likes of the communication and literacy/numeracy questions!! also what else should i look into to help me be the best prepared for interview? or what is other people doing to prepare??
anyhelp would be great! i want this soooooo bad would mean so much!!

Congrats, thats excellent news! well done! What does ur surname begin with? i really hope to hear from midwifery! ahhhhh
thanks begins with B, so i must have been one of the 1st to be sent out but i think it goes on when you sent your application in too. i'm sure you will hear from them soon i'll keep my fingers crossed
Hey everyone, does anyone know what questions have been asked? my interview for adult nursing is this week and im sooooo nervous
K xx
Hi Kay-dee26 if you research plenty you will do fine in your interview but please don't ask anyone about what questions have been asked this year. Queens have made it clear at the interview that what goes on in the interview is confidential and should not be discussed with other candidates as it is unfair to those that have already had the interview. If you break confidentiality as a nurse you could loose your registration so it is important when asked to keep something confidential you should adhere to it. You will be great at your interview if you just be yourself and if you gain a place it will be because you worked hard for it xx
oh dear........ I sent mine off about a week after the applications came out!!! Although the references would have been a couple of weeks later.........

When is your interview laureng55? Invest in a bottle of Rescue Remedy you can buy it in Boots Chemist. Seriously it works a treat. You will definitely feel a lot calmer. I'll say a prayer for you not that you will need it x
lol thank you, its on 7th of march lol ill need the whole bottle if this continues lol have you gone for your interview yet? x
Glad to hear that interviews are being sent out depending on went your application was received as well as alphabetically. Mine was sent in at the last minute as I was waiting for references. Another straw to clutch on to!
I still haven't received a letter so disappointed, I rang Queen's today and they said I should have my letter in the next couple of days if I don't to ring them back, I really think I haven't got an interview now, I won't be around for the next few days either, does the envelope have the nursing and midwifery logo on it or the Queen's logo, so I'll know if it's at home waiting for me tomorrow or Friday?
catherine and tyrone are you both waiting on nursing letters because I know a girl with surname o and she hasnt heard yet either, there is no reason why she shouldn't get an interview so like hers I'm sure your interviews are on their way. From reading this last year some people waited a long time after the initial interviews were sent, I am sure you will hear soon xx

Thank you for your note........as a mature applicant I had put off applying until my children were older and I was able to committee to what I was signing up to 100% - with regard to placement hours. I just hope I havent put it off to long! I do hope you are right but my gut feeling is that it isnt good news. I sent my application away about a week after they came out and my surname starts with B. But I can only wait and see. Keep us informed about your friend.
